Function: When the coolant pressure in the radiator exceeds the pressure cap setting, the coolant is sealed through the pressure cap and flows into the radiator coolant overflow tank through the overflow tube, the tightly closed cap maintains a good closed environment and prevents coolant leakage, the expansion tank provides extra space for coolant expansion and becomes a convenient place to check, fill or discharge the cooling system. Protects the engine, radiator. It also prevents the radiator cap from coming off due to increased pump speed and pressure fluctuations caused by the volume of coolant circulating in the system, which can lead to coolant leaks.
