The most famous set of electric guitar strings, renowned the world over as the original custom gauge rock n' roll set!
Played by Slash, Metallica and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Ernie Ball Power Slinky electric strings are a thicker custom gauge for players who dig heavy rhythms for straight up Rock ’n’ Roll or inherent warmth for Blues. Power Slinky strings are precision manufactured by machine in Coachella, CA to the highest standards and most exacting specifications to ensure consistency, optimum performance, and long life. Slinky sets are then sealed in an airtight, water-tight foil package which is quality tested every hour at the factory.
Slinky wound strings are made with a smooth nickel-plated steel wire wrapped around a steel hex core. They have a warm, full-bodied tone which brings out more of the mid frequency range compared to other strings and deliver an easy-under-the-finger feel which won’t wear out frets. The plain strings are made of specially tempered tin plated high carbon steel producing a well balanced tone for your guitar. USA made Ernie Ball strings boast outstanding quality and value with a solid fan base and established reputation.
